Hot Spring® Spas Introduces ACE™ Salt Water Sanitizing System
Hot Spring® Spas, a top-selling worldwide brand of hot tubs and portable spas, has taken another giant step to making spa maintenance even easier with the introduction of the ACE system, the first and only integrated salt water sanitizing system to use diamond technology.
According to Lissa Poincenot, director of marketing for Hot Spring Spas, the innovative ACE system automatically generates five cleaners from salt and water using diamond technology to leave spa water clean. “The ACE system reduces time spent on hot tub maintenance. It’s the perfect solution for people who want a hot tub with a more hands-free approach to water care. After that, the owner simply checks the sanitizer level regularly with a test strip and confirms use level once a month. A status message on the control panel identifies that the ACE system is cleaning the water.”
The revolutionary ACE system uses a diamond electrode to break apart water molecules to create active oxygen, one of the world’s most effective natural cleaners. The active oxygen then combines with salt and other elements in the water to create chlorine and three other powerful oxidizers.
To activate the ACE salt water sanitizing system, the Hot Spring spa owner adds the appropriate amount of salt to balanced water and enters the spa’s size and expected use level on the main control panel. “After that, the owner simply checks the sanitizer level regularly with a test strip and confirms use level once a month. A status message on the control panel identifies that the ACE system is cleaning the water,” Poincenot says. She adds that with the ACE system spa owners will enjoy softer, cleaner water that looks, feels and evens smells great. “Because the ACE system uses salt and water to automatically generate cleaners, owners are less likely to experience the dry itchy skin, irritated red eyes, or harsh odor of traditional water care.”
