The Waterwave: Get a Water Massage without Getting Wet

Prosun Waterwave We all know that a hot tub is one way to get a therapuetic massage. A personal messausse is another. If you combined the two, you might end up with something like the ProSun Waterwave—a system that relieves sore muscles via water pressure, while allowing you to stay dry and fully clothed. The system is essentially a bed with soft fabric stretched over it. Underneath is a reel that runs up and down the system, spraying water against the underside of the fabric, so you never get wet!

Similar to the jets of a hot tub, the water in the Waterwave can move in different directions and be adjusted to varying degrees of pressure. What makes the Waterwave unique, however, is that the water moves in different patterns up and down the bed based on the program you choose. This means you can target any tense muscle areas—including your back, calves, neck, and shoulders—while lounging comfortably in the bed. The five programs are operated via remote control, which also allows you to adjust the water temperature.

The Waterwave also comes in an FSR model, which includes a SkinRejuvination lamp that promotes collegen reproduction in the skin. After a few sessions, users often notice a decrease in facial wrinkles.

The Waterwave runs 110 volts, meaning you won’t need any special wiring; you can easily plug it into a regular outlet. If used several times a week, you can keep the unit plugged in and simply lower the thermostat when not in use. (If kept unplugged, remember to allow a few hours for the water to heat up before use.)

The standard model sells for $10,000, and the FSR model sells for $13,295. The SkinRejuvination lamp can also be purchased separately (at $3,295) and attached over a regular bed.
