Master Spas® Introduces New Swim/Therapy Spa,
New Automatic Cover System, and Solar Power Technology
Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA — Master Spas®—the critically acclaimed and internationally renowned and represented designer-manufacturer of portable hot tubs, luxury spas, and premium swim spas—has announced the debut of three new products that endorse the company’s commitment to improved technology as well as consumer health and comfort. The new H2X Momentum™ is a dual temperature combination swim spa and therapy spa unit that provides total fitness and exercise activities and complete hydrothermal therapy. The new, patented Master Lift™ automatic cover system provides secure, easy handling of H2X swim spa covers. And the new Solar Boost™ by Master Spas® is an optional power system for the company’s LSX models that uses solar technology in combination with battery backup to supplement the hot tub’s energy source for significantly greater energy efficiency, cost savings, and environmental sustainability.
H2X Momentum combines a 5-person, luxuriously appointed hot tub with a fully-equipped swim and fitness spa into a compact 19-foot, dual temperature unit. As the largest domestic swim spa available, the H2X Momentum features the full power Exerswim VS™ propulsion system for a deeper, wider, smoother current that is adjusts for individual resistance levels. Yet, the ultra energy-efficient industrial motor requires only a standard 50 amp electrical service instead of the 80 to 100 amp service needed for other swim spas. Truly, an H2X swim spa costs 70 percent less to operate than ordinary swim spas, making the H2X line one the most energy efficient and affordable swim spas available.
On the other side of the backlit acrylic thermal barrier is a full-size hydrotherapy spa with 36 jets and cove seating designed to give complete mind and body hydrothermal therapy rejuvenation. Exotic lighting and iPod-friendly stereo surround sound add ambiance. And by strategic design, the entire swim spa/therapy spa unit uses a single heater with sophisticated software that controls separate water temperatures: as low as 70 degrees for swim spa exercise and a comfortable 104 degrees for spa therapy. A customized divided cover nestles snugly over the divider to keep water temps right where they should be.
Master Lift™ automatic cover system is specifically designed to work with all H2X models and allows users to remove and replace the spa cover with the touch of a button. In less than one minute, the swim spa is uncovered and ready to go. The simple, reliable design is patented and complete with a built-in safety system that prevents children and pets from accidentally opening or removing the cover.
Solar Boost™ by Master Spas® incorporates “green” technology into the industry’s first truly hybrid hot tub. As a sophisticated, energy- and environment-saving alternative power source for all Master Spas LSX models, Solar Boost provides a patent-pending solar panel built directly into the cover that capably powers the hot tub’s filtration pump and ozonator. With as little as two hours of direct sunlight per day, the solar unit can power the filtration system for a full 24 hours. In case of cloudy weather, a state-of-the-art battery system stores up to 72 hours of backup power. Master Spas promotes Solar Boost as the “smarter, cleaner, greener” source for significantly greater energy efficiency, cost savings, and environmental responsibility.
