SwimEx
Go with the Flow
For over 25 years, family-owned SwimEx has offered a series of swim-in-place pools, known as swim spas, to give consumers a total body workout in one machine. Every SwimEx model features the unique paddlewheel propulsion system, which delivers a deep, wide water flow that is exceptionally smooth. The paddlewheel pulls water toward the rear of the swim spa and then propels the water back to the front of the pool through specialized tunnels to generate a powerful and fully-adjustable current. Equipped with a wide range of speed settings, SwimEx swim spas are an ideal choice for families with members at all different fitness levels.
Versatility
All of the SwimEx swim spas provide ample space for lap swimming, running in place, and water aerobics. Some of the models include benches for seat-ed aquatic exercises and relaxation. For users who are accustomed to running or fitness walking, they can run against the resistance of the water on the flat floor or add an underwater treadmill. To run on an incline, users can take advantage of the angled running pad. Due to the water’s resistance, the body’s muscles have to work harder so users get a more intense workout than land-based exercise.
Special Features
Deep Well. By adding a 12-inch or 24-inch deep well, owners have the ability to perform deep-water running and other non-weight-bearing activities. You can run, walk, or cross country ski in place working against the current. When you want your swim spa to return to its standard depth, simply place the cover back over the deep well.
Swimometer. The Swimometer option allows you to program workouts and do interval training without having to stop and press a button to change speeds—the Swimometer will automatically change the water speeds for you. Similar to selecting a program on the treadmill at the gym, users can set up nine different programs with up to nine varying intervals per program. For example, you can arrange your warm-up, sprint intervals, walking periods, and cool down. Once you begin, you can just “go with the flow.” By following a program and using the swim spa regularly, owners can achieve improved fitness levels over time.
Durability and Installation
SwimEx prides itself on the durable fiberglass construction of its swim spas, which are strong enough to handle a water flow of up to 25,000 gallons of water per minute. Each unit’s balsa wood core provides strength and stability as well as excellent insulation to keep heaters from working overtime.
SwimEx offers both one-piece and four-piece models to provide trouble-free installation no matter where owners choose to place their swim spa.
