Cynthia Caldwell and her husband Charles founded CCSI, manufacturer of Garden Prairie Pool & Spa Enclosures, nearly five decades ago. They have helped guide the company’s growth in rigid frame aluminum glazed structures. Working together, Cynthia and Charles have brought the firm national and international recognition. This year, CCSI celebrates its 47th anniversary and now has three generations contributing to its longevity and advancement.

Ernie Sears is the president and founder of Backyard America. With his extensive background in construction, the company focused on residential and commercial outdoor structures more than 20 years ago. Sears is an award-winning designer and a pioneer in Internet marketing of outdoor products. Additionally, he also holds several patents for outdoor structures and lighting products.

Robert Thompson
President and CEO
Carolina Solar Structures

Robert Thompson transitioned from building homes to building swimming pools in the 1960s. He built pools with enclosures until 1986, when his company, Carolina Solar Structures, concentrated on building enclosures exclusively. Mr. Thompson is a long-standing member of the Association of Pool & Spa Professionals. He has a B.S. from Indiana University.
